Regular SuRI seminars are held in room BC-420, on the fourth floor of the BC building.
From Lausanne, you can take the metro. If you are arriving at the Lausanne train station, take the M2 line (direction Croisettes) from the train station one stop to “Lausanne-Flon” and then the M1 line (direction Renens) 9 stops to “EPFL”. Metro tickets can be purchased from the machines in the station. Once you arrive at EPFL, follow the campus map to the southwestern corner. For more information, see the metro website.
EPFL is also served by bus lines 33, 701, and 705. By clicking on “Plan de reseau” on the metro website you can get a full map with all bus lines. You can also get schedule information for 701 and 705 from the MBC website.
If you're coming by taxi, it will be easiest to tell the driver to take you to “Parc Scientifique a l'EPFL”, which will put you right in front of the PS-A building (see map above).
If you're flying in, Genève-Cointrin is the nearest international airport. By train, it takes ~45 minutes to reach Lausanne. Zürich Airport is about ~2.5 hours away by train. To get train information, see the Swiss Rail website.
